It’s the GalaxyCon edition of Collision. Let us know what you thought of the show and of the Continental Classic thus far.

So this is the second week in a row where I struggled with watching Collision as I checked it out from the Nate Milton coined Nefarious Means Network. I think I might try to get a VPN and get AEW Plus soon as it’s tough to watch. From what I did see, the show was pretty good. I enjoyed the surprise wins from Kyle Fletcher and Mark Briscoe. I’m glad they’re strapping the rocket to him. It does shine a spotlight on Mark Davis and his lack of push, but maybe he could eventually team with Darius Martin and they can fine out who the true Jannetty is. One thing I have enjoyed is the discourse from the POST family about how to fix AEW. AEW at this point is better than say, 1999 WCW or 2010 TNA. I think that’s why the discussion about it is so interesting, because they are struggling but they are generally a good product and the idea is to find what could make it work.
I think the fact that they aren’t hot shines a spotlight on the bad things. When AEW was hot, they still had that awful Sammy Guevara/Scorpio Sky feud with Frankie Kazarian thrown in for good measure. So a feud like MJF vs Adam Cole stands out much more now that they aren’t hot. The show tonight was good though, as it had a good focus on current storylines and great Continental Classic matches. I do think Tony Khan should step down as head of creative, but I don’t want a massive change. I want someone who has a similar mindset to Tony, but doesn’t run 500 buisnesses and maybe gets at least 8 hours of sleep at night. That will hopefully improve things.
