Tell us what you thought about tonight’s episode featuring Kris Statlander with her second TBS title defence in two days, the return (after a week) of Switchblade Jay White, BCC vs Starks & BB, and the first FTR open challenge.
A fun episode. Several very good high profile matches throughout the show.
Dispite a lot of the deafening and distracting discourse online - Collision continues to be a show where different talents are being given a chance to develop and grow. Aside from the likes of FTR, Andrede, Bullet Club Gold, Starks, Scorpio Sky, Aussie Open, Miro and Hobbs all having a presence to various degrees, we also see the introduction / elevation of even more talent such as The Righteous, Shane Taylor, Iron Savages, Work Horsemen, etc.
As well, being Punk free, the show benefits from being a part of the larger AEW eco-system, with promos from the Hungbucks, and the BCC.
Really looking forward to next week’s Collision, nearly as much as Grand Slam, simply for the matches announced already, plus the fun of RVD back on AEW TV.
Nice to see Scorpio back.
I thought the main event was the best match on the show. Some nice counters and transitions. Especially, that flying head scissors into the lock jaw. Britt and Stat have good chemistry and I’d like to see them face off again. Loving Stat’s TBS title reign. She is such a talented wrestler. Definitely a favourite of mine. Talking of talented female wrestlers - where is Serena Deeb? She is fantastic and I love to see her matches. I’d like to see a heel Deeb have a title run.
