Tuned in late but…. That contract signing segment with Jericho and Big Tom, was painful. Admittedly funny for a breath and then went long and ended predictably.
Liked the Garcia and Jack Perry segment.
Is it worth it to watch the first 2/3rds of the show?
You left feedback before the show ended and you’re asking a question that will be answered during the podcast.

A great show tonight with a few hiccups. The opener was incredible. I’d like to see what else Mark Davis could do as he was fine, but the talent in the ring was on fire. The Darby and Claudio was great, I liked the Lashley squash and the main event was good too. My main complaints are that I think they should get rid of Kamille after Full Gear. If she couldn’t live up to the wrestling expectations, that’s fine, but they could faze her out instead of making her look more foolish. WWE did it with Giovanni Vinci, but he hasn’t been on TV in weeks. I also wasn’t a fan of the bit with Jack Perry and Daniel Garcia. I liked what they did on Collision, but I don’t think it needed a follow up. Just say they dumped him and the Jungle Bus on the side of the road. That being said, the good far outweighed the bad and I’m looking forward to Full Gear.

Fairly by-the-numbers go-home show with a good set of matches throughout, especially Darby vs. Claudio and the main event. Oddest tonal shift of the night was going from the Garcia/Perry hostage video to the very odd sort-of-chase scene with Jericho and Ishii, for a match that’s not on the PPV.
I already have the PPV ordered but can’t promise I’ll have the time or desire to catch Zero Hour when it airs live. It’s nice that the Costco Guys promoted AJ’s match on The Tonight Show, but I’m not sure how well their audience overlaps with a wrestling audience, though it sounded like Reading reacted to them well tonight.
I joined the post wrestling patron recently. Love what is here. I got into post wrestling thanks to the long winding road podcast with wh park. Looking forward to the next wrestler bio thet do on that one. Did you guys realize when private part won that titles on fright night as of now almost all of the original tag teams that started in aew have won thst championship? The only ones who never won it were hybrid 2, pride and powerful, the dark order and best friends. Also it seems recently mercedes has one of her title belts with her on screen. Her strong woman’s championship she has not lost it yet. Thanks
That’s not for certain. And I left feedback on what I saw. Thanks for the observations.
I don’t get the Darby Allen appeal… Skinny little freak (sorry), but even against “smaller” guys like Ospreay, Danielson oder Moxley how can anyone take this guy as a serious threat?
If this dude gets the World Title, I’m out. No more AEW for me.
I don’t need the biggest and muscular guy as the Champion, but Darby?? Not thanks.
