Omega/Cobb stole this episode and my ears perked up when I heard Devil’s Sky for the first time in years. Cole looked good in his first match back and right on queue, the heat vampire Jericho appeared. Uh oh and Bryan Danielson turned heel (saw this coming a mile away)
I bet Blood & Guts will be the Elite (the core four along with Hangman) vs a heel BCC.

That was a great video package highlighting the saga of the Elite and the rampaging Combat Club.
Kenny and Cobb seemed a bit off in the beginning but they came together and had a good match. Hard to live up to last weeks Kenny singles.
Main event was good. Good to see Cole back. Streamers were a bit much.

Another enjoyable edition of Dynamite. Worries about Adam Cole’s pending feud with Jericho aside, the top programs are all hitting for me right now. Particularly the Elite-BCC feud that we can be fairly certain is leading to Blood & Guts. What a spectacle that will be.
A non-AEW question to cap this off. I don’t watch anything WWE related with the exception of the PPVs. So my weekly info comes from you guys. The feeling I got from Austin Theory on Raw was that the impending promo he’ll cut on Monday after the Cena match could be tailormade for a debuting/returning wrestler.
Do you think it could be a good landing spot for someone like Jay White, given he’ll likely get a heroes welcome anyway?
Dynamite continues to effectively divert the conversation away from the seemingly never-ending online drama with solid shows over the past few weeks. There are layers and nuance to a lot of the storylines going on right now during a post-PPV period that would usually see a bit of a lull.
One thing I noticed was that Claudio’s normal upbeat theme “Uppercut Swingphony” was replaced with a generic version of the 1812 Overture. If they go the same route after the Danielson turn and go back to a standard Ride of the Valkyries, we would have two BCC members with classical songs. What songs should they give to Mox and Yuta?
