An enjoyable show.
The first match was very good, though the ending was weird. I don’t know what that was supposed to be off the top rope.
The 6-man was good. WALTER is looking LEAN. He must be working out with Bartels and Eichner.
I was disappointed with the women’s match. I thought it was sloppy and there was too much WWE-acting.
Did Von Wagner beat up a child??
Main event was very good. Steiner is really impressive for somebody so green and Ciampa is such a smart wrestler. Even the parts that were a bit sloppy looked like the kind of ugly struggling you might get in a real fight.
Having said all that, I’m not optimistic about where NXT 2.0 goes from here. I fear Roddy will be relagated into a nothing role, it looks like we won’t get WALTER vs. Riddle, and I still think it’s too soon to put the belt on Steiner. Even so, I’m much more open to watching NXT 2.0 now than I was three months ago.
