This was my peak fandom of TNA during this time from 2007-onward, watched IMPACT almost every week and carried more of my interest than WWE by this point. I remember buying this PPV and watching back, it’s still solid as I remember it being. TNA put on their two best matches this year to close the show. Wolfe brought out the absolute best in an aging Kurt Angle while AJ, Daniels and Joe raised their game. This was truly a turning point before a new era and the product here was a shining example of what TNA could’ve been as an “alternative” before Hogan, Bischoff and company didn’t do much favors over the next year.
