Elias is my most improved wwe superstar of 2018 he’s witty, intelligent… charismatic. It’s a real oversight on wwe’s part that he hasn’t been included for money in the bank, there’s no question he’d be my winner, I think he has a real shot at having a run on top in the not so distant future but my question is can he really be taken seriously enough for that spot. I believe he’s got everything that Vince is looking for but what do you two think?

So, the men get 2 hours for their gauntlet match and the women get what? 20 minutes? I wasnt the biggest fan of the length of that mens gauntlet, but we still remember it, for the performance of Seth Rollins and his popularity has sky rocketed since then. The women couldnt at least get an hour? Did we really need that stupid BBQ segment or a Balor/Strowman rematch one week after the last match? Did we need to see Ronda look like she was on the verge of tears?

Honestly guys, if I didnt love listening to your reviews so much, I’d want you to drop Raw, like you have 205 Live. I watched the August 7, 2000 episode of Monday Nitro earlier today and it was a hell of a lot better than this bore fest and that is no exaggeration. That might be bad, but at least its fun to laugh at and the show makes sense in its Russo sort of way. Dominion cannot get here soon enough.

Another paint by the numbers RAW, it’s like they are not even trying any more. When you think further on it though, after signing that massive contract with FOX with such a vanilla product, I guess they don’t have to make things interesting (or make sense). Makes me appreciate NJPW and NXT even more so than before.
That said I fully expected the last two in the gauntlet match to be Bayley/Sasha and was surprised when Bayley got knocked out as soon as she did. But once it came down to Sasha being the last entrant the writing was on the wall.

Where was Roman Reigns? I can’t remember the last time he wasn’t on RAW. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining or anything, it was actually a breath of fresh air not seeing him on my television. I’ve complained a lot about how the WWE is booking stars right now but I love how they’re booking Braun Strowman. Having a baby face that the heels are scared of is something new and fresh that we haven’t seen in a long time. This guy needs a World Title reign and I hope it comes sooner rather than later. I usually hate when the WWE does an angle and then decides later on to ignore it and act like it never happened but in the case of Sami and Lashleys sisters last week, hopefully the apology tonight is the last we hear of this angle and we can all move on and act like it never happened. Question-I know it’s still 3 months away, but based on what you’re seeing right now, who can you honestly see as a serious contender for Brock at Summerslam? The only two guys I see that are over enough and believable enough to face him right now would be Braun or Seth Rollins.

Things i didnt fast forward through.

Elias. I like his shtick.
Rollins. Stll surprised that burn it down chant is working, but he is becoming over enough for lesnar match.
Sami zayn. I liked how bad this continues to be.
Strowman. Who is bobby roode?!?, but seriously.
Nia jax’s uncomfortable promomatch with rousey.
B BBQ. I do love holiday segments. Cant take this stuff to seriously :joy:
Sasha. Always a fan.
Did i skip over roman???

Overall this was a quick raw to get through for me, not many segments worth watching. Been that way a lot lately, it’s disappointing with the talent they have, but i guess the talent need to be in the building to help.

Finally!!! Seth Rollins and Jinder Mahal have the long anticipated rematch from the first ever NXT championship match. Was this even mentioned? (Answer: nope).

Ever since the point was made that so much of TV exists for video packages later on I realized the show isn’t required viewing. Anything noteworthy will get played several times later, and there hasn’t been a solid storyline cliffhanger in…years? What’s the last good moment that left intrigue as for next week?

What are they possibly filling 3 more weeks of TV with? Have mercy on your souls and thanks for keeping us all up to date.

Tonight was the easiest Raw to get through in weeks. Huge improvement over the last month of pure crap. I made good on my promise to do housework while Raw was on, and my God my kitchen has never been so clean. If they keep this up I might just replace the cabinets and put in some wood floors. This show is much easier to watch in the background, and not paying sole attention to it made it a much more enjoyable 3 hours. I actually caught myself laughing at the B-Team BBQ segment, and I wasnt even high! The gauntlet match was decent as well. Solid 5 out of 7.
