I didn’t leave any feedback about my lice experience of the netflix premier because I saw there was plenty of feedback and didn’t want to bombared you with some more.
It was an ok show, there were definitely times where i couldn’t tell if we were on the air or not, but other times I could tell like when liv and Seth’s themes started to play again for their matches. Even after the main event no one was sure if we were off the air.
Whereas with nxt we definitely knew. The lights would go out for a good few seconds to let us know we were off the air or coming back on the air. The funniest moment for me at nxt was when they played an old video package and Bobby Lashley was shown in it. The confusion of the crowd was hilarious.
Lastly you already know we had to represent for Post wrestling in LA!

Not gonna lie, I didn’t watch a whole lot of Smackdown tonight as I was more interested in Texas vs Ohio State tonight to see who plays Notre Dame in the National Title game. I did catch the women’s four way match and enjoyed it. Bayley winning was the right call for next week’s title shot and I want to see how Naomi factors into the story they’re telling next week.
I did want to ask John and Wai if you’ve had a chance to see or will be seeing The Last Showgirl with Pamela Anderson and Dave Bautista? I watched it this afternoon and thought it was an excellent movie. My immediate comparison after watching the movie was to The Wrestler but with Pam Anderson playing her version of Randy the Ram. The movie seems to be getting a lot of buzz so I was wondering if either of you are interested.
Thank you for your time and hope you two have a good weekend.

I’m with you guys on Smackdown. This show definitely felt its length. It made me appreciate AEW’s weekly shows staying at two hours. My favorite segments tonight were the opening segment with Heyman, and the stuff around the Women’s Title picture, setting up a few different stories. Nevertheless, it wasn’t until Cody made the challenge for the tag match that I realized this show had a third hour, and I was not excited.
In more positive news, I re-subscribed to New Japan World at the start of the month, just to check out the Tokyo Dome events last weekend, but now I have Battle in the Valley to look forward to. Kenny Omega vs. Gabe Kidd from last weekend is my current Match of the Year as well, and I anticipate Kidd’s match with Tomohiro Ishii and his future in the company overall.
I finally tried utilizing my NordVPN subscription that I signed up through Post Wrestling last year and forgot about it as a typical millennial. I connected to Canada. But SmackDown just wouldn’t load for me on Netflix. I was about to load up say WrestleMania 40 and other Vault shows. But not the love show. Eventually had to give up and watch on USA. I wonder if WWE has some special agreement with Netflix to block American VPN users from watching live.
Lastly, given how successful I feel this Raw Netflix launch has been, how do you think how different the SmackDown Fox debut and subsequent run would have been under the current TKO regime?
