There is no feud I care about less than Roman & Corbin. We didn’t even get rapping Corbin… Still, this show had some good stuff. Mustafa Ali has been on the back burner so hopefully a victory tonight gives him more of a focus moving forward. We saw much-needed returns from popular characters like Elias & Alexa Bliss. It can never be said enough, Sami Zayn continues to do the best mic work on this entire show by a mile. I wanted to see him & Cesaro not only challenge for the tagteam titles, but win them. 6 Lacey Evans chants out of 10. speaking of which, this women’s roster seems pretty weak. Who would you have challenge Bayley next?

It’s felt like Roman and Corbin have been feuding for three months at this point. I really hope Roman gets a different direction heading into the Rumble as I can’t imagine seeing this feud continue any longer. Great to see Alexa back, as Smackdown desperately needs a strong babyface in the women’s division. Cole telling us that Kofi is just days from breaking 1,000 days as tag team champion is astonishing. Something I noticed during the show is that Wyatt has created turns out of the guys he’s beaten. He beats Finn Balor, and Balor jumps ship to NXT and turns heel. Bray beats Seth Rollins and Rollins turns heel. Bray beats Daniel Bryan and Bryan completes a face turn. I really hope these were all intentional, as they’d bring another layer to The Fiend character.
Question: Braun Strowman hasn’t had any story since losing to Tyson Fury. Any guess at who his next feud will be with? The only person I can see him feuding with next is The Fiend, but having a losing feud going into WrestleMania doesn’t seem like the direction WWE would have for Strowman.
WWE is making abundantly clear that they have no interest in helping Sasha or Bayley reach their potential as stars. It’s only a matter of time before we’re watching dominant champion Lacey Evans vs the scrappy underdog Alexa Bliss. Bryan is the best thing going on the main roster, Rollins should be taking notes but he’s probably tweeting about not liking football again. How before Bruce Pritchard gets heat for these mediocre shows. One last thing, if you guys haven’t watched AEW Dark, the promos by Shanna and Big Swole. Love you guys, keep up the great work
