I hope everyone is staying warm. The news of Smackdown getting a third hour left me cold, but it’s all about that ad revenue. I felt the opening promo was a real drag until Drew McIntyre came out and made things a little more interesting. Then that six-man tag felt like it would never end. I enjoyed the last half-hour of the show the most. Much love for Cleveland All Pro Wrestling! Nice touch of Bianca holding onto both tag title belts, then giving one of them to Naomi after she won the match for them. Nevertheless, hearing about what’s happening on ROH Final Battle made me wish I was watching that instead of Smackdown.
If there’s a Rewind-A-Smackdown after three-hour Smackdowns, of course I’ll watch. I’ve done it for Rewind-A-Raw. As long as my Friday night isn’t pre-occupied by other events.
