New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced the full field for the Super J Cup tournament this month with the additions of Will Ospreay, El Phantasmo, and Robbie Eagles.
The 16-man tournament kicks off on Thursday, August 22nd in Tacoma, Washington. The second round matches will take place on August 24th from San Francisco leaving the semi-finals and final for August 25th in Long Beach at the Walter Pyramid.
Below are the opening round matches for Tacoma:
*Will Ospreay vs. Amazing Red
*Taiji Ishimori vs. SHO
*TJP vs. Clark Connors
*Robbie Eagles vs. El Phantasmo
*Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Jonathan Gresham
*Dragon Lee vs. YOH
*Bushi vs. Caristico
*Rocky Romero vs. Soberano Jr.
The Super J Cup is being taped for a later airing on New Japan World, although no date has been released.
