The fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Logan Paul has been officially announced for Sunday, June 6th in Miami, Florida.

The news of the fight was made Tuesday evening and will be presented by Mayweather Promotions, Fanmio, and Showtime Sports from the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. It is being listed as a “special exhibition” by Fanmio.

Mayweather’s professional boxing fight was in August 2017 where he defeated Conor McGregor and elevated his record to 50-0. On New Year’s Eve 2018, he competed in an exhibition fight against Tenshin Nasukawa for the Rizin promotion in Japan.

Paul is a YouTube celebrity that competed against KSI. The second fight was his professional boxing debut and lost to KSI by split decision after six rounds in November 2019 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Mayweather and Paul were scheduled to fight earlier this year, but the fight was pushed back.

The rules for the fight have not been revealed yet or the weight provisions for each fighter.

It will air as a pay-per-view on Sunday, June 6th, which is one night after the next Triller event that will feature Evander Holyfield vs. Kevin McBride and Teofimo Lopez vs. George Kambosos.
