WWE posted a story regarding its final tryout session of the year at the Performance Center along with the list of those attending the tryout.

The most interesting name is former Bellator lightweight champion, Will Brooks

Brooks, 33, was active as of this past July with an MMA career that spans close to nine years.

Brooks fought for Bellator from 2013-15, where he won the lightweight tournament in 2013 and then replaced Eddie Alvarez at the promotion’s first pay-per-view.

Alvarez was scheduled for a third fight with Michael Chandler but had to pull out of the fight and led to an interim title fight involving Chandler and Brooks. Brooks won the fight by split decision and a rematch against Chandler later that year to become the official champion after Alvarez left the promotion for the UFC.

Brooks left Bellator as lightweight champion and signed with the UFC where he went 1-3 and was let go. He fought for the PFL in 2018 with a 2-0-1 record and then fought for Battlefield FC this past July and was submitted by Gleison Tibau.

Other notables attending the tryout at the Performance Center include EVOLVE’s Anthony Henry, The Tate Twins (Brandon & Brent) a.k.a ‘The Boys’ in Ring of Honor, Arissa LeBrock – the daughter of Steven Seagal and Kelly LeBrock, and Chanice Chase who represented Canada at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil.

The entire list of attendees is on WWE’s website.
