NJPW Strong has added four matches to its ‘New Japan Showdown’ events taking place in October when the group heads to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

NJPW Strong will be at the 2300 Arena on back-to-back nights on October 16th and 17th. The first night will include Minoru Suzuki taking on Chris Dickinson while the second night features Will Ospreay facing Alex Zayne.

Below are the updated line-ups with the addition of four matches for that weekend:

Saturday, October 16th

*Minoru Suzuki vs. Chris Dickinson
*Juice Robinson vs. El Phantasmo
*Jay White vs. Fred Yehi

Sunday, October 17th

*Will Ospreay vs. Alex Zayne
*Jonathan Gresham vs. Alex Coughlin
*Tom Lawlor, JR Kratos, Royce Isaacs, Danny Limelight & Jorel Nelson vs. Fred Rosser, Karl Fredericks, Rocky Romero, Ren Narita & The DKC

These shows are starting to look really great on paper. It’s great to see the no-frills style of STRONG getting a boost from live crowds and some bigger names.

I may have missed my shot getting decent tickets earlier, as all I’ve seen for these shows have been front row seats that cost more than I’m willing to spend.
