The show opened with the newly-christened “Honorary Uce” Sami Zayn & Solo Sikoa defeating Madcap Moss & Ricochet. During the match, the broadcast team explained that because of The Usos’ big win last week over The Brawling Brutes, they had the night off. Despite that, right after the match Sikoa & Zayn tried to enter The Bloodline locker room and ran into Jey Uso. Jey told Sami that he sees right through him and if Zayn does anything to jeopardize his family, he would take him out.
A promo package featuring Karrion Kross and Scarlett aired with Kross telling Drew McIntyre that at Extreme Rules he was going to take McIntyre “to a point of no return”.
After the Kross package, a new QR code was shown that takes users to http://www.wwe.com/1911 which features a short video of cartoon pigs and a wolf that transitions to meat hanging from hooks and some kind of wolf creature. At the end of the video, Morse Code is used which seemingly translates to “Azazel Reborn”.
Kayla Braxton interviewed Austin Theory backstage asking if he was planning on cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase anytime soon. Theory started running down Wales, Winnipeg, and Drew McIntyre. McIntyre walked up behind him, challenging him to a match.
Drew McIntyre defeated Austin Theory by DQ after Alpha Academy interfered. After the match, Johnny Gargano and Kevin Owens came to McIntyre’s aid and the three fought them off. This would lead to tonight’s main event.
The Maximum Male Models were trying to make up for their loss last week by breaking the Canadian record for the longest pose. Max Dupri rolled his eyes and stormed off. Throughout the night, various Superstars such as Hit Row, Kevin Owens, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Sonya Deville checked in on the models to see how their attempt was going. Finally, later in the show, Max Dupri returned to attack MMM. He promptly quit saying it was never for him.
Hit Row defeated Los Lotharios clean after hitting their “Heavy Hitter” finisher.
Ronda Rousey defeated Natalya with an ankle lock submission. Liv Morgan came out after the match attempting to attack Rousey with a bat. The two brawled at ringside as security tried to pull them apart.
After declaring that he was on the same page with Drew McIntyre and Johnny Gargano, Kevin Owens ran into Sami Zayn in the back and told him he needs a new shirt.
Imperium was conducting an in-ring promo running down The Brawling Brutes when Sheamus interrupted. This led to Gunther leaving Sheamus laying in the middle of the ring after a powerbomb and a shillelagh strike.
Michael Cole & Corey Graves took a moment to acknowledge the passing of Antonio Inoki.
Bayley defeated Shotzi who had her TCB Tank back as part of her entrance. After the match, Bayley was going to splash Shotzi who was laid out on a collapsed ladder, but Bianca Bel Air ran down to make the save.
Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens & Johnny Gargano defeated Austin Theory & Alpha Academy.
