I kind of wish Jay White had won his match, then blamed Okada for not doing him a favour. I think NJPW thought that would telegraph the finish too much, but due to the commentary in the main event the finish was already telegraphed for me anyways after they kept mentioning the time and that Tanahashi just needed a draw to advance.

Still can’t complain too much because overall this is a fantastic fantastic tournament, but I think they made the wrong booking call here.
