G1 Climax 32 Contest: Day 6 Results

Originally published at G1 Climax 32 Contest: Day 6 Results - POST Wrestling | WWE NXT AEW NJPW UFC Podcasts, News, Reviews

Two matches had everyone divided and two clear upsets today made for some low outcomes. This is the second day already with no contestants having perfect picks. Cameron Stewart has maintained his impressive first place position and stands alone at the top. The POST Wrestling E Block had a tough day with nobody guessing more than two correct answers but that was enough for a shake-up at the top.

Below are statistics showing what percentage of listeners, as a group, correctly predicted the winners of today’s matches. Winners are in bold.

Correct % Correct # Match
50% 194 Tom Lawlor vs. Lance Archer
45% 176 Kenta vs. Evil
17% 67 David Finlay vs. Juice Robinson
11% 44 Great O-Khan vs. Chase Owens

Archer v Lawlor aside, nothing connected with me today. Kenta got a day off and promoted his book, yay…

This US title business is my least favorite wrestling plot today. Kevin Kelly spends two entrances going over all the intricate plot details all painting the picture of the actual champion presented as the eternal number one contender. And it’s insane to believe that anyone besides Finlay believes that he is the champion and that beating him means you are now the champion, but that’s the story and Finlay is so proud of himself for winning this meaningless title.

Wow, on a day of so many upsets us lowly fleshlings are lucky Randobot only nailed one pick.

Wait, what? Why does Chase think he is the US Champion from beating Great O’Khan? That sounds hilarious.

FINLAY! Dyslexia strikes again.
