GCW Tag Team Championship Match: Violence is Forever (Champions) vs. Dyln McKay and Austin Luke

Luke and Ku kicked off the match, with Ku taking Luke down through some chain wrestling. Despite being taken down, Luke managed to rise to his feet, seizing control of Ku’s wrist. They exchanged holds until breaking apart and resetting. Luke then landed a heavy kick to Ku’s chest, and in return, Ku connected with one of his own. The two traded chips and strikes in the center of the ring.

McKay was tagged in and executed a moonsault on Sky for a quick pin attempt. Ku backed McKay into the corner, where he and Dom unleashed a flurry of tandem offense. Dom followed up with a series of heavy chops on McKay before tagging Ku back in to continue the assault. VIF maintained quick tags, keeping each other fresh while isolating McKay on their side of the ring.

McKay rallied and caught Ku with a tornado DDT before making the tag to Luke. Luke unleashed a series of kicks and strikes on the tag champions, resulting in a close near fall. Dom and Luke exchanged forearms in the center of the ring. Luke connected with a McGuinness Lariat but was thwarted by Ku before he could make the cover.

Dom blocked a shooting star with a choke, but Luke intervened with a frog splash, only to be taken out by Ku’s running knee strike. Ku and McKay traded forearm strikes, with Ku winning the battle but getting sent to the floor with a drop kick. McKay executed a Fosbury flop onto VIF, isolating Ku. They hit Ku with an assisted Tower of London, but Dom broke up the pin.

Ku retaliated with chops, and Dom delivered a piledriver to Luke on the apron. VIF choked out McKay to successfully retain the GCW World Tag Team Championships.

Singles Match: Lio Rush vs. Cole Radrick

Big welcome back chant for Lio but much louder Raddy Daddy chants for Cole Radrick. The chanting went on for a couple of minutes as both men waited for them to die down. Lio rushed in but Cole caught his leg, Lio tried to negotiate out of it but was quickly rolled up. Lio went to the floor as Cole begged him to get back inside and fight, Lio dragged Cole to the floor but Cole turned the tables and connected with a series of punches, back inside the ring Lio caught Cole with a big clothesline followed by a series of chops and strikes in the corner. Lio connected with a sliding lariat for a two count, Lio then slowed the pace down with a front headlock, followed by a back suplex for another two count, and went back to the front headlock. Lio went for a KT her lariat but Cole ducked and connected with a side slam for a two-count of his own. Lio blocked a handspring cutter and connected with a cutter of his own, Cole fired back up and returned the favor. They collided with each other with lariats, Cole connected with a butterfly suplex into Lil Sebastian’s curse but somehow Lio managed to kick out. Cole went for a second Lil Sebastian’s curse but Lio cooked and and connected with a lariat followed by a big frog splash for the victory.

Extreme Championship Match: Emersyn Jayne vs. Extreme Champion Joey Janela

Emil Jay notes that this is the first time the belt has been defended in 269 days. Jayne took Joey down with a headlock takeover; Joey escaped and trapped her in a leg lock. They got back up to their feet, and Jayne locked in a cross-arm breaker, but Joey escaped, tying her up with a headlock takeover again. Jayne connected with a back elbow followed by a ‘rana. Janela ducked a back fist but was caught with a big chop. Jayne tried to come off the ropes but was hit with an uppercut from Janela. Joey continued to lay in strikes; Haybe got a couple of her own in but was leveled again by a big forearm from Janela. The crowd booed as Joey missed a moonsault. Jayne finally hit Janela with some offense, taking Joey off his feet with a big top rope dropkick for a close near fall. They traded strikes, Jayne got a close near fall after a sliding German suplex, but Joey responded with a brain buster. Jayne kicked out again. Joey grabbed a door, set it up in the corner, and went to DVD Jayne through the door, but she got out of it. They battled on the top rope; Jayne took Joey over with a rana and wiped him out on the floor with a big tope. Joey had enough and tossed Jayne through the door, set up a broken half in the corner, and went to throw her through it again, but Jayne reversed it, sending Joey through the door instead. They went back to trading fists; Jayne was knocked to the apron but quickly hit Janela with a dragon suplex, sending Joey crumpling to the floor. Joey connected with a super kick followed by a package piledriver, but Jayne still kicked out. Joey went to the floor, grabbed another table, and set up a door bridge in the corner. He placed Jayne on top of it, and climbed to the top rope; Jayne recovered and met Joey up there, hitting him with a Spanish fly through the door for a very close near fall. Joey hit a running Jayne with a German suplex, but Jayne no-sold it, hitting Joey with a series of them followed by a running knee strike. Joey went to the floor; Jayne hit a top rope moonsault to the floor and rolled Joey back inside but got her head taken off by a lariat and a powerbomb, yet still kicked out. Joey hit her with a super kick followed by a top rope foot stomp to retain the championship.

GCW Extreme Champion Joey Janela Defeated Emersyn Jayne 

Singles Match: Violento Jack vs. Speedball Mike Bailey 

They had a short feeling-out process before they started to exchange chops. Jack got the better of the situation, but Bailey popped back up and leveled Jack with a heavy kick to the chest. Jack took Bailey off his feet with a buff shoulder block. Bailey responded with the Speedball kicks, sending Jack to the floor, where he connected with the triangle moonsault. They battled on the floor, each man landing brutal strikes and kicks to their chests. Bailey connected with a big running kick, sending Jack back into the ring, where Jack took him off his feet with a running kick to Bailey’s knee. Jack connected with a slingshot DDT for a close near fall. Jack tied up Bailey in various submissions, but Bailey refused to give up. Bailey fired up with a missile dropkick and a series of axe kicks into a running shooting star for another two count. Jack ducked a kick and again locked Bailey in another submission. Bailey got back up to his feet, and they continued to trade chops. Jack dumped Bailey on the back of his head with a suplex, but Bailey popped right back up and hit a beautiful moonsault to the floor. Jack was sent back into the ring, and he hit Bailey with a superplex followed by a senton, but Bailey got his knees up and connected with the tornado kicks. He went for the ultimate weapon, but Jack moved out of the way and hit Bailey with a powerbomb for a two count. Speedball went for the tornado kick again but was met with two lariats from Jack followed by another submission hold. Bailey managed to get himself to the ropes. They battled on the apron, where Bailey hit Jack with a moonsault double knee into a super poisonrana into the ultimate weapon, but Jack managed to kick out. Bailey hit Jack with the Flamingo Driver for the victory. An incredible match..

Deathmatch: Charli Evans vs. Risa Sera

They attempted to take each other down with dropkicks, but both missed. Risa grabbed a tube, as did Charli; they broke them over their heads. Risa started to carve away at Charli’s forehead and ‘hit’ her repeatedly with a kendo stick. Risa connected with a chair-assisted dropkick for a close near fall. Charli retaliated with a big northern light suplex for a near fall of her own. Charli grabbed a tube, broke it across Risa’s back, and started to carve away at her forehead, causing Risa to bleed. Charli followed up with a big running crossbody and a series of forearm strikes. They exchanged strikes, and Risa grabbed more tubes, placing them across the downed Charli and breaking them after a second rope knee drop. Risa picked up her kendo stick, attempting to hit Charli, but Charli blocked it and countered with a Gory special for a two count. Risa hit Charli with a Death Valley driver on the broken glass, but Charli kicked out, and they began trading forearms in the center of the ring as the crowd was split in their support.

Risa hit Charli with a light tube fan and followed it up with a top rope double knee for a close near fall. Risa called for a tube contraption, but Charli fired up and hit her with a cyclone driver through the tubes for the victory..

Deathmatch: Daiju Wakamatsu vs. John Wayne Murdoch 

They each grabbed tubes and ran at each other with them, then started trading fists. Murdoch was hurled into the broken glass as Daiju grabbed a gusset and slammed it into Murdoch’s head. Murdoch returned the favor, hammering it into Daiju’s head, but Murdoch gained the advantage with a buff kick for a close near fall. Murdoch broke tubes across his back, hitting Daiju with a series of chops and a tube to Daiju’s groin and armpit. Murdoch swung wildly with a bundle, only to get dropkicks into his face, followed by a couple of tube-assisted headbutts. A group of kids protected themselves with raincoats from the flying glass, having the time of their lives. Murdoch sent Daiju face-first into a pane of glass after a running double knee to the SDL hit his head. Murdoch set up a chair in the ring and hit Daiju with a brain buster, but it still wasn’t enough to put him away. Murdoch grabbed a bundle of tubes and went to hit him with it, but Daiju reversed it and smashed it over JWM’s head and went to the top rope for an elbow drop, yet Murdoch kicked out again. Daiju was brained with a bundle of tubes, followed by a superplex onto a bundle of tubes for another two-count. Murdoch locked in a choke and put Daiju to sleep for the victory. This match was an absolute sprint and a highlight of the weekend..

GCW World Championship Match: Blake Christian (Champion) with Shane Mercer vs. Miedo Extremo with Ciclope

Blake backed Miedo up into the corner, but Miedo sneaked through and connected with a series of moves on Christian. Miedo landed an elbow to Christian’s head, followed by a big overhead suplex for a close near fall. He slammed Christian and climbed the top rope, hitting a spin senton for another near fall. Christian speared Miedo on the apron and then executed a beautiful Fosbury Flop, sending Miedo shoulder and headfirst into the ring post.

Miedo tripped Blake, sending him headfirst into the ring post, and followed it up with a big lariat inside the ring. Miedo booted Christian in the face and connected with a big forearm. Mercer saved Blake, who then hit Miedo with a springboard forearm, aggravating Miedo’s already injured shoulder. Blake focused on Miedo’s shoulder, working it over with a series of arm wringers and submission holds. Despite Miedo getting his foot on the bottom rope, Christian kept the hold locked in as Mercer took out Ciclope on the floor. Miedo tried to save his tag team partner but was sent shoulder-first into the ring post by Mercer.

Christian continued to pick apart Miedo with kicks into a 619. Miedo escaped a pin attempt but fell victim to a handspring back elbow. Blake attempted a stomp, but Miedo countered with a cutter, buying him some time to regain strength in his shoulder. Blake grabbed his belt, and Miedo fought back with punches in the corner. However, Blake dropped him face-first on the belt and hit him with a knee strike for another near fall.

Blake shoved Referee Dan Perch after grabbing his belt, and Miedo grabbed the other side, starting a tug of war. The belt went flying, grazing Dan Perch. Miedo hit Christian with a DDT, but Perch was still recovering in the corner. Mercer entered the ring, beating down Miedo, and Ciclope came to his partner’s aid. They both hit Mercer and Blake with superkicks and a dive from Ciclope, sending them both to the back.

Miedo avoided a belt shot and hit Blake with an Acid Bomb. He crawled over to make the cover, but Mercer returned and tossed Dan Perch across the ring. Miedo hit Mercer in the head with the belt but fell victim to a low blow from Blake Christian. Christian targeted Miedo’s shoulder again and called for his curb stomp. Ciclope tried to make the save, but Mercer cut him off. Blake connected with the curb stomp to retain the GCW World Championship.

Post Match: Fans again threw trash at Christian and Mercer. It’s become a hack and just causes more work for the crew in between matches. Shoutout Gafer/Crew Chief Matt Borruso for getting in the face of an unruly fan and putting him in his place. 

Do or Die Rumble: The winner gets a GCW World Championship Match at any time of their choosing

Entrance 1: Masha Slamovich 

Entrance 2: Tara Zepp

Tara hit Masha with a big crossbody followed by a series of punches in the center of the ring, Mashas cut her off right away with a big superkick followed by a couple of stomps. Masha chopped away at Tara and hit her with a snap suplex into a body slam. 

Entrant 3: Tony Deppen 

Zepp hit Deppen with a head scissors followed by a chin breaker into a leverage DDT, Deppen grabbed a hold of her and tossed Tara Zepp over the top rope. Masha and Tony went face to face where they traded big strikes, Deppen connected with a dropkick to Masha’s back.

Entrant 4: Everett Connors

Connors connected with a superkick to Deppen and a second rope cutter to Masha into a rebound suplex. Deppen was put up in the torture rack and was planted head-first into the mat.

Entrant 5: JCW World CHampion Jordan Oliver

Oliver came in and targeted both Deppen and Connors and grounded them with a series of strikes and a big driver to Connors.

Entrant 6: Rico Gonzalez
Rico made his way to the ring and hit Connors with a big springboard cutter, slapped Tony in the face, and hit him with a leg lariat. Masha went for a suplex on Gonzalez but Rico countered it and hit her with one of his own and followed it up with a twisting senton. 

Entrant 7: Philly Mike

Mike ran wild on everyone in the ring with a series of head kicks and a cutter to Rico. Mike then hit Rico with a swinging DDT which sent Rico to the floor.

Entrant 8: Hunter Drake

Drake and Rico traded fists as the match broke down into your usual scramble match format with each person in the ring able to get a flurry offense before the next entrant made their way to the ring. 

Entrant 9: Bam Sullivan 

Bam hit Drake with a big spinebuster, Connor fired up and hit a superkick to Philly Mike as Toon made his way to the ring

Entrant 10: Brayden Toon 

Toon ran wild on everyone in the ring, he hit Oliver with a head kick but Oliver was able to save himself at the last second before crashing to the floor. Connors tried to send Bam to the floor but he was too big to muscle him up. 

Entrant 11: Josh Bishop

Bishop took RIco and Drake out with a couple of power moves, and Josh Bishop eliminated Rico Gonzalez. Josh turned his attention to Bam and Philly Mike and Eliminated Rico and Mike, and Connors. Hunter Drake stepped up to Bishop and hit him with a chop, Bishop leveled him with one chop and then tossed him over the top rope for the elimination. 

Entrant 12: Mr. Danger

Danger hit Oliver and Deppen with big dropkicks, followed by a rana to Oliver, Danger came off the top with a crossbody but Bishop caught him and tossed him across the ring with a fallaway slam. 

Entrant 13: EFFY

EFFY ran wild on everyone in the ring with a series of forearms and kicks, he leveled Oliver with the Under the Rainbow but was cut off by Big Josh Bishop, they started trading fists, and EFFY escaped a Black Hole Slam and speared Bishop. 

Entrant 14: Kevin Ku 

Ku and EFFY started to slap each other in the face and then moved on to forearm strikes and chops. 

Entrant 15: Sleepy Ed

Sleepy Ed went back to bed on the apon as everyone else fell asleep in the ring as well.

Entrant 16: Steph De Lander

SDL cut a promo on her way to the ring and ran everyone down, she said she wasn’t going to enter the ring until a real superstar entered the ring. 

Entrant 17: Broski Jimmy Lloyd 

Broski and SDL hit Jordan and Toon with tandem tag team offense, they sent Toon flying over the top rope, he took a nasty spill and had to be helped to the back.

Entrant 18: Allie Katch

Katch ran wild on everyone with her running hip attack/cannonball combination, Deppen cut her off and started to twerk but Katch caught him off the top rope with a head kick only to be hit from behind by SDL. Jimmy ran into SDL causing her to be eliminated, EFFY hit Broski Jimmy with a Sack Ryder followed by a heatseeker from Katch for the elimination. 

Entrant 19: Dom Garrini 

Dom and Ku ran wild on everyone in the ring, Dom took Mr. Danger’s head off with a big lariat as entrant 20 made his way to the ring. 

Entrant 20: Griffin McCoy 

Ku went to eliminate Oliver, McCoy took out Mr. Danger with a head kick as McCoy and Oliver turned their attention to each other and lit each other with a series of chops and strikes. Oliver pushed McCoy over the top rope for the elimination. 

Entrant 21: 1 Called Manders

Manders connected with a big power slam to Oliver and Mr. Danger

Entrant 22: Sawyer Wreck

Sawyer and Katch faked a kiss, Sawyer clotheslined Katch and then gave one to Manders for good measure. Deppen returned to the ring and tried to chokeslam Sawyer but was sent to the apron where he was chokeslammed and eliminated. 

Entrant 23: Joey Janela 

Janela sprinted to the ring, took out everyone with straight right hands, and hit Danger and Oliver with a double suplex. Sawyer and Manders went to kiss but Joey popped up between them and then they clotheslined each other. Good bit.

Entrant 24: Gringo Loco 

Loco came to the ring and hit everyone with a couple of chops, he went shot for shot with Manders and took him out with a leaping leg lariat. Oliver connected with a big boot to Gringo as Jordan Cruz made his way to the ring. 

Entrant 25: Jordan Cruz

Cruz connected with jumping knee strikes to everyone, he was on a roll until Ku and Dom cut him off with tag team offense, Katch went for the heatseeker on Dom but Dom blocked it. They battled on the apron and Ku connected with a boot to Katch which eliminated her. Dom and Ku were eliminated by EFFY who blew a kiss to Allie as she made her way backstage.

Entrant 26: Bobby Flacco 

Entrant 27: Ciclope

Flaco hit EFFY with a kick to the gut followed by a poisonrana as Ciclope made his way down to the ring. Ciclope ran wild on Cruz with a shining wizard and a spinebuster to Mr. Danger; Ciclope hit Janela with a diving destroyer as Cruz and Bishop fought in the corner. Ciclope eliminated Bobby Flaco.

Entrant 28: Shane Mercer

Mercer ran wild on everyone in the ring and started to trade punches with Cruz, Cruz hit Mercer with a German suplex but was quickly eliminated by Shane Mercer who then tossed Mr. Danger onto Cruz on the floor. Oliver went for an Acid Kick but Mercer dumped him on the apron and eliminated him. 

Entrant 29: Cole Radrick

Mercer and Radrick fired away at each other, Cole went for a cutter but Mercer caught him and dumped him to the floor. Janela started to stomp away at Sleepy Ed who was still asleep in the corner. Mercer hit Ciclope with a big powerslam, Janela tried to smother Ed with the pillow, and Mercer picked up Ed and eliminated him. 

Entrant 30: Speedball Mike Bailey 

Bailey delivered the Speedball kicks to Mercer, staggering the big man. Mercer placed Bailey on the apron, and Bailey went to the top, hitting Mercer with a top rope dropkick. Sawyer then stalked Bailey, slapping him across the face and chokeslamming him. Wreck and Bishop faced off, both having each other by the throat. Manders accidentally hit Sawyer, providing Bishop the opening to send Manders to the floor. Sawyer eliminated Bishop, and Bishop pulled Sawyer to the floor.

Mercer tossed Ciclope to the floor, leaving Masha Slamovich, Gringo Loco, Joey Janela, EFFY, Mike Bailey, and Shane Mercer. Masha began to choke out Mercer, but they tumbled over the top rope to the apron. Mercer escaped, booting her to the floor. Mercer and Bailey fought on the apron, with Bailey attempting the moonsault double knee, but Mercer moved out of the way, sending Bailey to the floor. Janela, EFFY, and Gringo pounded away on Mercer. Janela placed Gringo on the top rope, leading to a destroyer onto Shane Mercer. EFFY booted Gringo in the face and went for an Under the Rainbow, but Gringo got out of it and attempted a Base Bomb. EFFY saved himself, kicking Gringo in the face for the elimination. Joey jabbed EFFY from behind, and Mercer and Joey began trading a flurry of punches. They collided at full force, and Janela clotheslined Mercer to the apron. Mercer fought out of it, launching Janela with a popup powerslam and then tossing him to the floor.

Mercer and EFFY traded strikes in the center of the ring, EFFY fired up on Mercer with a series of chops in the corner, and Mercer turned it around with some chops of his own. EFFY was sent crashing into the corner, Blake Christian entered the ring to help Mercer beatdown EFFY, Mercer placed EFFY up on the top rope and attempted a moonsault and battery, EFFY got out of it and sent Mercer to the floor. The bell rings and Emil Jay is about to announce EFFY as the winner as Mance Warner comes from behind and sends EFFY over the top rope to win the Do or Die Rumble.

Post Match: They met face to face and started trading punches back and forth the brawl spilled to the floor and into the crowd. Staff had to rush in to break up the fight as they were slowly brought backstage. 

Deathmatch: Nick Gage vs. Jun Kasai 

They began trading fists, and Gage spiked Kasai with a spinebuster. He then brought out a pizza cutter, cutting away at Jun’s forehead on all sides of the ring. Jun retaliated by pulling out a knife, cutting Gage’s arm, and sending him face-first into a pane of glass. Despite the cuts, Jun continued to carve into Gage’s body. Gage responded with some strikes, but Jun leveled him with a headbutt for a near fall. Jun placed a bundle on Gage and broke it with a senton for another near fall. Kasai hit Gage with a brain hater in the glass, but it wasn’t enough to put the king away. The crowd was pulsing toward the ring throughout the entire match, I’ve only seen/been a part of this a handful of times before and it’s an amazing atmosphere. 

Kasai broke a tube across Gage’s head, leaving him reeling in the corner. As the fans started counting down the new year, Gage emptied a bag of tacks and repeatedly spiked Jun onto them. Everyone screamed ‘Happy New Year’ as Kasai and Gage continued to fight away inside the ring. This was an absolutely incredible moment that truly felt like a fever dream. Gage set Jun up for a face wash in the corner, leveling him. They continued brawling on the floor, and Gage set Jun under a glass contraption, hitting a reverse springboard elbow through the tubes and pane of glass—an absolutely perfect spot resulting in an insane visual.

Gage broke a giant bundle over Kasai’s head and then introduced a knife and razor board. Kasai fought out of it, kicked Gage in the head, and skewered him before dumping Gage onto the boards. Gage popped back up but fell to a lariat for a close near fall. Kasai grabbed a bundle, but Gage broke a bundle over Kasai’s head and then hit him with a tube-assisted second rope piledriver. They set up a lattice tube structure in the ring as Gage worked over Kasai in the corner.

Gage placed Kasai on the turnbuckle, but Kasai reversed it, tossing Gage through the tubes. Gage kicked out at one, giving Kasai a powerbomb, but Kasai kicked out at one as more boxes of tubes were sent into the ring. They proceeded to break them all over each other. Glass was flying everywhere, and there was an inch of broken glass on the mat as these two legends battled on. Kasai hit a piledriver in the broken glass, climbed to the top rope, and executed his big splash for the victory.
