Game Changer Wrestling and IWTV have settled their lawsuit and have announced a series of cards to be produced as part of the settlement.

IWTV filed a lawsuit against Game Changer Wrestling last June alleging breach of contract after stating the two parties entered into an agreement in March 2020 for IWTV to produce, film, and distribute GCW’s events and be the exclusive holder of their pay-per-view rights.
In December 2020, GCW publicly requested to be let out of their contract with IWTV.
IWTV claimed damages from the loss of revenue for thirty-six GCW shows that aired on FITE TV between December 2020 and May 2021 and were seeking in excess of $500,000.
In Wednesday’s statement, GCW noted that the agreement confirms that GCW is the sole owner of its extended library covering Game Changer Wrestling, Jersey Championship Wrestling, and LA Fights events.
They noted that “litigation was a last resort, but a necessary step in establishing our independence. At the end of the day, we thrive in the arena, and our resources are best directed towards the ring…not the courtroom.”
As part of the settlement, GCW will be producing eight events for IWTV that are being advertised as “The Settlement Series” over the next year with more information to be released regarding those cards.
IWTV has not issued a statement yet regarding the settlement.
