Giannis Antetokounmpo doesn't see himself becoming a wrestler, but adds 'you never know' what could happen

The NBA Champion says ‘you never know’ what could happen.

On December 9th, the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks picked up their 19th victory of the season by besting the Dallas Mavericks 106-105. The Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo finished the game with 28 points and ten rebounds.

At the post-game press conference, Giannis was asked a non-basketball-related question by journalist Landon Buford. He was asked if he would ever consider joining WWE or AEW after his basketball career is over.

Giannis first thought about Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and said if he was being paid what Johnson is paid, he’d for sure join. He then added that he does not see himself becoming a wrestler, but doesn’t know what could happen in the future. Giannis has been present at WWE and AEW shows in the past.

Like the WWE or the AEW? Be like what? The Rock? Sh*t, if I make as much money as The Rock makes, for sure I’ll join. I don’t know. I don’t wanna be a wrestler. I don’t think that’s my thing, but you never know. You never know what could happen. I’ve seen a lot of great athletes; Shaq, Mike Tyson, I think LaMelo [Ball] was there, Lonzo [Ball], LaVar Ball was there a couple years ago so you’ve seen a lot of people that have been a part of it. But if I’m going to join? I don’t know.

Antetokounmpo mentioned Mike Tyson and Tyson was on commentary for an episode of AEW Rampage in November. He called the Katsuyori Shibata versus Orange Cassidy All-Atlantic Championship match.
