Director Jesse Peretz was nominated for his work on the pilot episode of the series for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series.

The series also received several additional nominations for technical awards.

Despite a big push, including hosting an event to create awareness for Emmy consideration, the WWE was not nominated for any awards.

The Emmy Awards will take place September 17th in Los Angeles on NBC and will be hosted by Michael Che and Colin Jost of Saturday Night Live.

Can’t see WWE liking this. Serves them right, maybe this will be their wake up call and actually look to improve things. (Even though the low ratings should have shaken things up though.

Or they will just to a piss poor GLOW mickey take parody segments on Raw

Mind you, I thought that The Andre The Giant Documentary had a decent chance.

WWE can’t even qualify for an emmy because they don’t credit their writers.

For anyone who doesn’t know that.

That’s interesting actually. I’ve never really thought about that.

Always wondered who were the best boy and key grip were for the WWE shows…

they would set the record for most “executive producers” listed. Probably a dozen or more.
