Opening the 2/17 edition of AEW Dynamite was the tandem of Matt Hardy and Hangman Adam Page defeating Jack Evans and Angelico in a tag match. Post-match, Hardy got on the microphone and talked about how he was going to take a certain percentage out of Page’s earnings because of a contract that Page signed on last week’s show while at a bar.

It was soon revealed that the papers both Page and Hardy signed was to make a match between them official for AEW’s Revolution pay-per-view on March 7th. If Page wins, he gets 100 percent of Hardy’s earnings for the first quarter of 2021. Hardy then proposed that if he beats Hangman, then the stipulation applies but with roles reversed and Page agreed.
