The role of patriarch Fritz Von Erich has been cast for the upcoming film on the famous wrestling family.
Deadline broke the news that actor Holt McCallany will play the role of Fritz Von Erich/Jack Adkisson in the film ‘The Iron Claw’, which is being written and directed by Sean Durkin.
McCallany’s credits include Mindhunter, Blue Bloods, Lights Out, CSI: Miami, and Law & Order.
Zac Efron, Harris Dickinson, and Jeremy Allen have also been cast in ‘The Iron Claw’ that will document the Von Erich family, who were mainstays of professional wrestling in Texas.
