How/Where do you listen to POST Wrestling?

I’m intrigued by how and where everyone listens to their POST Wrestling podcasts? I’ve seen a few posts about other podcasts people listen to, but just interested at how people listen to them. Me personally, I have a bus/walk, tube (London Underground) and train commute every day, where the hour gets taken up every Tuesday and Wednesday morning with the Raw and SD reviews. I then listen to the remainder on my way home. Depending on what time other shows drop in the UK (if they’re first thing in the morning or later) really outlines when I listen to everything else. In the old days of the LAW, Monday mornings would be Sunday’s show and then if I had any time on the weekend for Keep It 2000 or Bauer and Pollock. That’s not even taking into account all the other podcasts I listen to - jeez, I’m noticing how much time that these all take up a week!!
So how do you do it?

Mostly during the travel to and from work, also occasionally at work, but mostly at home.

At the office. I’ve got a bit of backlog right now considering all the time off over Christmas & New Year, only just finished the ‘Best Of…’ show, then I have 5 other shows and Rewind-A-Raw to get through as well as everything else being released this week.

If I have some actual free time though, I might throw on a video game and put on a podcast in the background. This worked very well with Axiom Verge!

Same for doing the catch up. I still need to finish the full Xmas Eve launch show, and xmas not being a normal time of year always puts me a little bit behind. I guess it’s like the WWE Network and other wrestling content out there - there’s so much to catch up on! For me with E&C’s podcast, Austin, Jericho, JR, and many others, I pick and choose others I’m listening to, but always come back to John and Wai each week.

I listen on my laptop at home. I can listen while playing a game, doing work or drawing.

Usually to work and during work, but I’m starting a new job in April that gets rid of the “during work” option.

Tuesday morning, milking cows. That’s when and where I listen to Rewind A Raw. It has been for years!
Wednesday night, Rewind a Smackdown,
also while milking cows!

My husband and I own a dog walking business, he’s walking for about 5 hour per day, I’m walking for about 3, including drive time. So lots of time for podcasting! I love it when the reviews go long. - becca

Same! Once I see it’s gone beyond 90mins I’m delighted!

I really hope that all of this is true. And if so, I want to see video as I think this sounds amazing

100% true!

I have split custody with my daughter and drive 45 minutes after work to pick her up from school and often times 45 minutes back to her moms at night. That’s four 45 minute car rides in a day. I am so grateful to have John and Wai keeping me company. And obviously when my daughter is in the car i don’t usually listen just in case the guys get a bit rowdy.

I have usually listen on my commute to work, to get the brain kickstarted. I tend to listen to music on the way home from work to relax, but sometimes i’ll listen to a podcast, depending on the day I’ve had.

If I’m moving around I have headphones on and a podcast going, even in the house I’ll have one ear in. I listen when I’m travelling or just out on walks, I like to cycle a lot (although not as much in the winter) and will always have a podcast on because unlike music I can still hear the traffic over the conversation without it actually drowning either out.

Often, when I’m watching Japanese wrestling shows, I’ll turn the commentary down - because I don’t understand it anyway - and put a podcast on while I watch the matches; it helps con me into not just playing with my phone and missing stuff. The volume is high enough so that I can hear major reactions from the commentators and audience, and of course the bumps in the ring, but low enough so that it doesn’t make it impossible to listen to whatever podcast I have on. It’s like listening to WWE show commentary basically, because they never talk about the wrestling in the ring either.

I’ll answer the how part. Always on my OnePlus 3 phone using PocketCasts app. It’s a really great podcast app for <$5 if anyone is looking for one.

I’m an office worker so I spend 30+ hours a week listening to podcasts and The LAW/Review-a-Raw were always great ways to start my week. It’s normally the first podcasts I listen to every day.

As far as how I listen? I’ve always been a Stitcher user. It’s how I found The LAW and it syncs across platforms while letting me use my computer at the office.

I listen on my phone mostly everywhere i go (home, car, work when possible, etc.). I have a small bluetooth speaker at home that I utilize. I transitioned from using the Overcast app to now using PocketCasts. It really is the best podcasting app out there, as i have tried a number of them.

I don’t get anywhere near as much time to listen to podcasts as I’d like so I squeeze in 10 minutes here and there, normally when doing the washing up (doing the dishes I believe you call it over there) or when driving anywhere when my kids aren’t in the car as John and Wai have potty mouths.

I listen commuting to/from work as well as during. Around the house I listen while cleaning/washing dishes/playing mindless video games that don’t require listening (an old version of Madden until it forced me into retirement after 30 years and now Binding of Isaac).

I live in prehistoric times as far as the method goes… iPod Classic (160 GB)! I like being completely overwhelmed by my music collection (currently 16,699 songs on there) and a hefty back catalog of various podcasts. I’m a hoarder. :frowning:

Not sure what to use yet for Rewind-A-Wai but at least i can utilize the ridiculous blu tooth beanie/tuque my fiancee got me for Christmas.

I’ve been working largely for myself as a real estate agent since a year ago now. The amount of podcasts I’ve listened to has decreased, but for the ones I still listen to (including John & Wai), it’s while I’m doing work on the computer at home or at my real estate office, while I’m on long drives, or while I’m busy doing other things that don’t require a lot of attention (such as open houses with low attendances). Always through my iPod. For my drives, I have an AUX cable to play my iPod through my car stereo.
