After losing to o.V.e. (Sami Callihan, Madman Fulton & Jake Crist) at IMPACT Against All Odds, The Design’s Deaner and Angels exchanged words on tonight’s IMPACT on AXS. Angels mentioned the ‘real leader’ of Violent By Design is who brought him into IMPACT. He was referring to Eric Young who was written out of IMPACT storylines in 2022

Newly crowned IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley and X Division Champion Chris Sabin kicked off the show. Shelley listed talents he’s mentored that have went on to become champions such as Kazuchika Okada, Jay White, The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson), Trey Miguel, KUSHIDA and Seth Rollins.

There was a 10-person tag to close the program and it was Shelley, Sabin, Nick Aldis, Trinity Fatu and Knockouts World Champion Deonna Purrazzo defeating Kenny King, Trey Miguel, Savannah Evans, Gisele Shaw and Sheldon Jean. Post-match, Aldis took out his Slammiversary opponent Alex Shelley.

There was mutual respect shown between Motor City Machine Guns and IMPACT World Tag Team Champions Chris Bey and Ace Austin. As Austin and Bey were coming to the backstage area after scoring a win in tag action, they ran into Sabin and Shelley and both teams expressed respect towards the other.

Eddie Edwards attempted to make amends with Frankie Kazarian after stepping in between a confrontation involving Kazarian, Steve Maclin and Bully Ray. Edwards stated that him and Kazarian will always be linked through their trainer, the late Killer Kowalski. Kazarian and Edwards are teaming up on 6/22 to take on Maclin and Bully.

The following matches are also scheduled for the June 22nd episode:
