Prior to IMPACT Wrestling’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view on October 21st, the company’s Hall of Fame ceremony is taking place. Being honored this year are Traci Brooks and the commentary duo of Mike Tenay and the late Don West. IMPACT President Scott D’Amore is inducting Tenay and West and inducting Traci Brooks will be fellow Hall of Famer, Gail Kim.
A farewell celebration was held for Yuya Uemura as he pulled the ‘fired’ briefcase in the Feast or Fired match. His tag partner Joe Hendry wanted to send him off, but The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) crashed the festivities. This led to Santino Marella coming out and making it official that if Uemura and Hendry could defeat Wentz and Miguel, Uemura could keep his job. The Rascalz got the win after Miguel used spray paint in the eyes of Uemura.
Deonna Purrazzo approached Tasha Steelz and suggested that they watch one another’s backs going forward.
There was a singles match between Rhino and Jack Price. It was Rhino’s first singles match in IMPACT since the 5/11 episode when he unsuccessfully challenged Steve Maclin for the IMPACT World Championship. Following Rhino’s victory over Price, he was ambushed by Maclin because Rhino cost him a briefcase in the Feast or Fired match.
Scheduled for the 10/5 IMPACT on AXS are the following bouts:
- Tasha Steelz vs. Killer Kelly (w/ Masha Slamovich)
- ABC (Chris Bey & Ace Austin) vs. John Skyler & TBD
- Eric Young, Jordynne Grace, Jake Something, Champagne Singh & Dirty Dango (w/ Alpha Bravo) vs. Bully Ray, Brian Myers, KiLynn King, Mahabali Shera & Jody Threat
