This coming Sunday, December 11th, Jamie Noble is going to be making his in-ring return at a WWE house show in his home state of West Virginia.

Noble announced in November that this match would be taking place. It is not known who the former ROH World Champion will be sharing the ring with in his return, but he sat down with Byron Saxton for an interview to chat about this weekend.

I’m super excited [about my in-ring return]. When I was kid, we’d go all the time but it was more Crockett Promotions so it’d be Dusty [Rhodes] and [Ric] Flair and my favorite, The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express so just everything kind of fell in line and I’m super excited. I’m glad it’s in West Virginia, glad everybody jumped on board and I’m ready to go.

Following up on that response, Noble was asked how he feels physically. The 45-year-old Noble has not wrestled in a sanctioned match since 2015.

He feels good and admitted that he was initially worried about a training camp. Charlie Dempsey and Drew Gulak helped him prepare and Noble said it was challenging but he feels like they properly prepared him.

Good [he responded when asked how his body is feeling]. When I looked at the dates and trying to get everything ready, I was worried about a training camp and how I’d hold up but it’s been great. It’s obviously rough getting used to going at it and some of those guys over here, [William] Regal’s kid [Charlie Dempsey], Drew Gulak’s come in so, it’s been challenging but I feel like I’m there, I feel like they got me ready. I plan on killing it.

Noble works as a producer for WWE and has been in that role for over a decade.

Drew Gulak made an appearance on the 12/6 NXT on USA Network and watched Charlie Dempsey as he scored a win over Hank Walker in singles competition.
