Jamie Noble wrestled in his final match at WWE’s live event on Sunday.

Performing in Charleston, West Virginia, the 45-year-old Noble (James Gibson) teamed with Braun Strowman, Butch & Ridge Holland to defeat The Usos, Solo Sikoa & Sami Zayn.

The finish came when Noble hit the Gibson Driver and pinned Zayn with a big reaction from the audience.

An emotional night. I’m humbled & honored to have had the privilege of sharing the ring with Jamie Noble tonight in his final match. Very few actually know how much Jamie has contributed to this industry. One of the great minds for the business & an unsung hero at @WWE.
Grateful. https://t.co/tkd7AyFtli

Noble began his career in 1995 and got his big break in WCW where he was a member of The Jung Dragons that engaged in a feud with 3 Count. The program was highlighted by a pair of matches at Mayhem and Starrcade in 2000.

After WCW went out of business, Noble reported to the Heartland Wrestling Association, which was a developmental system for WWE during that period. He was brought to the main roster in the spring of 2002 and paired with Nidia on SmackDown and won the Cruiserweight title from The Hurricane at the King of the Ring event and held it until Survivor Series, losing to Billy Kidman.

In 2004, he left the company after a steroid issue where Noble stated he contracted a staph infection and the company learned he was using steroids.

Noble wrestled in NJPW & Ring of Honor for the next year and won the ROH championship from CM Punk in August 2005, losing the title one month later to Bryan Danielson before returning to WWE.

Noble wrestled for several more years before ending his run as a full-time wrestler by the end of 2009 and working as a producer with the company.

He had an on-screen role in 2015 as a member of J&J Security alongside Joey Mercury as security for Seth Rollins and did several matches on television that year.

The match on Sunday was Noble’s first in over seven years.
