JD McDonagh is off this weekend’s NXT live events after the performer stated he was injured.
McDonagh announced on social media that he has a detached retina in his right eye and won’t be able to appear at the shows in Tampa and Citrus Springs, Florida this weekend.
He expects to be back in “10-14 days” and is awaiting a treatment plan to address the injury while including a photo of his eye.
McDonagh wrestled Tyler Bate on this past Tuesday’s episode and was attacked by the returning Ilja Dragunov afterward.
