The news came out early Monday that WWE performer Jeff Hardy had been arrested on Saturday night and was booked for a DWI after crashing his 2016 Cadillac CTS-V sedan.

TMZ reported the details of the arrest and added that Hardy took a breathalyzer test and his result was more than three times the legal limit.

Hardy will be appearing in court over the DWI case in April.

PWinsider.com added that Hardy was issued a 30-day pretrial revocation of his driver’s license.

The WWE issued the following statement to TMZ:

Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.

Hardy has been off the road since last October when he underwent surgery on his shoulder for a torn rotator cuff and his return was expected imminently.

Uso didn’t receive any punishment, so Hardy should be fine…get an uber or something. Smart drunks have a DD.

Plus they are making 6 figures… maybe 7 figures… there is no excuse for a rich person to get busted for DUI

It’s amazing how few people seem to care that recovering addict Jeff Hardy got busted for a DWI. Everyone’s talking about his job security and no one’s talking about his personal health and well-being. Dude’s been out injured for months and now he’s drinking and driving - that’s totally normal behaviour, I guess.

We ain’t his daddy.

Maybe his family should talk about his health and well being.

I hope Jeff Hardy’s personal health and well being are fine. That being said he’s screwed up every time he’s been given a shot. Jimmy Uso is a one time offender and hasn’t had an issue in the 6 or 7 years he’s been the WWE. This is Jeff Hardy’s has been given Nth amount of chances, at what point do you cut your losses?

Not asking you to be his “daddy”. Just asking you to feel a human emotion towards another human being who is obviously suffering. Sorry, didn’t expect compassion to be such a big ask.

It’s a family problem.

Speculating on people’s problems is just distasteful.

Talking about what a business would do in such situations is fine. Because that’s open for public discussion.

Not speculating. Stating concern for someone I’m a fan off.

How is making assumptions on a forum he isnt aware of gonna help him?
