Before everyone say he was drinking and driving that may not be the case. Driving under the influence can mean many things and all are dangerous and should not be driving when tired or even on certain flu medications etc. Its crazy that a company as big as WWE can’t pay for drivers it Doesn’t have to be a multi million dollar tour bus but a shuttle bus or vehicle of some sort. Their wrestlers have to wrestle and then drive multiple hours work out and find food and sleeping commendations and do it day in and day out Uso could just been exhausted driving.
The shuttle bus is a ridiculous idea though, these are grown men not school children, and the boys tend to travel at different times to each other, some straight from the show and some wait until the next morning so forcing them on a bus is a joke.
Yeah such a ridiculous idea that WWE does it for their Major talent like Cena etc. I shouldn’t have used the term Bus however A van etc would suffice and that is to save the WWE money they could all have individual drivers. Of course people are reading this and probably think that’s ridiculous too. Even semi major Hollywood productions have drivers that will drive the crew and on screen talent to locations to make sure they get to the right place and on time. and god forbid a talent gets injured while driving themselves to a shoot the insurance would have a field day thus they have professional drivers. In Terms of WWE it is a small miracle the talent hasn’t gotten in car accidents that either injure them or Imagine if they injured someone else the bad press WWE would get. So as ridiculous as my idea which is not original and many entertainment industries and sports athletes use! The WWE should have it in place and then as you say these grown man have a choice to opt out and if they do and so be it something bad happens which eventually it will WWE can optically look good and can deny any responsibility. Not saying in this particular case they are responsible but its in events like this that make me look at the future potential issues.
That being said if Uso was driving drunk and tired or whatever he should be fired in this day and age with investors and advertisers you cant have a talent doing that. And i am a Uso fan. However my thing is if he is tired which you cant be and driving ask truckers. Its not totally fair he losses his job because his company that tells him be here and then there in a small window of time not providing safe traveling arrangements that put other peoples lives at stake on the road.
