An update on Cena’s schedule.

One of the surprise appearances in the main event of WrestleMania XL night two was John Cena. The 16-time WWE World Champion ran down to the ring to offset Solo Sikoa who was targeting Cody Rhodes on behalf of Roman Reigns.

Cena guest appeared on The Pat McAfee Show at WWE World and stated that he was able to make WrestleMania because Honda bumped a commitment. He added that his schedule is filled up until around Christmas 2024 but once that’s completed, he’s hoping to come back for one last run.

So, I was grateful enough that Honda kind of bumped a commitment I had to be able to do WrestleMania so I’ll go from here to do something with Honda.

So I’m going straight to that. I have a cool keynote appearance with Samsung in Las Vegas. Their theme of the convention is ‘time is now’ so they called on yours truly to speak there. I’m very grateful for that. I have some more branding stuff to do before I leave for Europe to finish a movie that we started filming before the strike called ‘Heads of State’ with Priyanka Chopra and Idris Elba and then straight from that to Peacemaker season two. That’ll take us through just about Christmas and I’m crossing my fingers and toes and my heart that maybe, just maybe, I can tell the Hollywood world to pump the breaks for a while and come back to my family for one last run. I hope, I don’t know, I hope, I’m trying, I hope, we’ll see what happens.

After Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title, Cena joined the ring to celebrate Cody along with Brandi Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, Jey Uso, L.A. Knight, CM Punk, Teil Rhodes, Brodie Jr. (Negative One), Cody’s mother, Bruce Prichard and Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque.
