Laurinaitis’ representation issues a statement.

In the sex trafficking lawsuit that former WWE employee Janel Grant filed against the company, Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis, it is noted that McMahon directed her to begin having sexual relations with Laurinaitis.

She would meet the former Talent Relations executive at hotel rooms and later relayed to McMahon that she’d leave those rooms feeling very bad about herself. Per the suit, in June 2021, both Laurinaitis and McMahon forced themselves onto Grant.

The legal representation for Laurinaitis issued a statement on the matter to VICE News. Edward Brennan, lawyer for Laurinaitis, claims his client is a victim in the case and noted that the truth will come out. Laurinaitis is denying the allegations and will ‘vigorously’ defend himself in court.

Mr. Laurinaitis denies the allegations in the misguided complaint and will be vigorously defending these charges in Court, not the media. Like the Plaintiff, Mr. Laurinaitis is a victim in this case, not a predator. The truth will come out.

Following up on that, Brennan was asked if he is directly saying McMahon is the predator in this case and he responded with the following:

Read the allegations. Read the Federal Statute. Power, control, employment supervisory capacity, dictatorial sexual demands with repercussions if not met. Count how many times in the complaint Vince exerts control over both of them.

VICE News reached out to TKO Group Holdings and did not receive an immediate response. The publication also reached out to Janel Grant’s representation and a spokesperson for her lawyer, Ann Callis, declined to comment.

Vince McMahon resigned from all roles at TKO and WWE. His spokesman noted that McMahon will ‘vigorously’ defend himself against the allegations.

There is a special place in hell for John Laurainits - at least some people will respect and say a nice word about Vince. No one has ever thought Johnny Ace is anything but the scum of the the Earth

Regardless, Vince is a moron and having sex with employees (men or women) in the work place can lead you down this road.
