The two talents have tagged with each other during the backend of the G1.
Kicking off NJPW’s G1 Climax 33 final show at Ryōgoku Sumo Hall was a tag match that saw Ryohei Oiwa and two-time GHC Heavyweight Champion Kaito Kiyomiya defeat Toru Yano and Oskar Leube.
Afterwards, Kiyomiya and Oiwa gave their post-match comments and Kiyomiya invited the Young Lion to Pro Wrestling NOAH. Oiwa accepted the offer.

Kiyomiya and Oiwa have tagged at five of the last six G1 shows. Kiyomiya finished with six points in the A block and his last G1 bout was a loss to Ren Narita.
Due to him being in the G1, he is missing NOAH’s N-1 Victory tournament.
