Karl Fredericks is no longer with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Fredericks announced on Monday morning that he is longer under contract with the promotion.

“I will not be re-signing with the company at this time. Though there is disappointment in the ending of this chapter I am grateful for the last four years traveling the world and growing with my best friends.”

Fredericks, 32, joined the New Japan Dojo in 2018 three years into his career. He got his start wrestling on the independent scene in Northern California.

In 2019, he won the Young Lion Cup including Shota Umino, Ren Narita, Alex Coughlin, Clark Connors, Yota Tsuji, Michael Richards, and Yuya Uemura.

Fredericks last wrestled for New Japan in May where he beat Ren Narita at Capital Collision and defeated QT Marshall the following night at the NJPW Strong taping.
