Omega won the title for the second time on January 4th at Wrestle Kingdom 17, after defeating Will Ospreay.

Dynamite will emanate from the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri, on Wednesday, March 29th.

More Dynamite matches are expected to be announced during Saturday night’s broadcast of AEW Rampage.

Let the complaining begin…

JFC, let it go. Why is “fair criticism” such kryptonite to some AEW fans?

Oh it doesnt bother me. We just know its coming. And using Jesus’s name in a profane manner isnt cool guy. Come on. Let it go

If it didnt bother you, why even make that comment? I don’t get why some fans get so defensive when people put out constructive criticism. Would you prefer apathy?

I love wrestling. Wrestling is great. :grinning::smiley::smile::grin::laughing:

I would call them people on this forum. I would call alot of them outside of here, fucking weirdos. I dont post anything on twitter, but I unfortunately read shit sometimes and these guys are just beyond sad.

This is just a match. No one is tuning in to watch tour of the islands

Oh I agree, people on Twitter are idiots and like you that’s why I dont post on that toxic platform.

I didnt think any of us were being like that in the thread he’s referring to (not that you are saying otherwise). It is funny though, thats the second passive comment someone has made in the last few days about a thread nobody has posted in for a over a week. Its crazy to me that people get that upset over you, myself and a few others just asking for some build. You dont agree, cool. But don’t make passive aggressive comments in other threads.

People posted in it yesterday but hey one day, one week. Its all the same.:rofl::rofl:

What does it say to your roster when you keep bringing in outsiders to face your top star?

There is nothing wrong with it. They just go to that to often. There are so many fun and interesting matches that we havent seen yet in AEW and it feels like some of these guys wont even sniff a match with each other for a long, long time.

It almost feels like there is an actual roster split, without it officially being told to us.

The conversation about that particular topic was over a week ago. But if that’s your take away, ok.

My thoughts about this match are mostly the same as the Vikingo match.

  1. Will the match be good? Yes

  2. Am I “hyped” for the match? Not really because I don’t know much about Jeff Cobb (like Vikingo) and I had even forgotten Omega is the US Champion.

  3. Will I watch Dynamite? Yes. Because while Omega vs Cobb will be a good match I am excited for the storylines surrounding Omega and the hints of Omega and Hangman either reuniting as a team or resuming their feud.

You literally said no one had posted in the topic for over a week but if a week is equal to one day and thats your takeaway ok

I’m not getting into a grade 2 level argument with you.

Hey its constructive criticism. No hard feelings. Have a great day!

I don’t think it has the same dream match appeal. Vikingo is a AAA champ and had a match cancelled with Omega. And in ring it would be incredible.

Cobb is just a guy really. Big and strong and athletic but not going to blow your mind and he’s been mid/upper mid NJPW for a long Time. Not a champ or anything

Its true. While Cobb called Omega out and said he’d come to the states to fight him its not like this is a match that was supposed to happen 18 months ago or whatever. It’ll still be good hopefully but a bit different

I mean, I dig Cobb, and haven’t really been disappointed by any of his AEW appearances over the years. I think it’ll be a solid match that will likely surpass expectations.

I am interested in the story being built around Omega, and will always take a killer Kenny match on Dynamite.
