Originally published at Kenny Omega vs. Alan "5" Angels added to AEW Dynamite
A new match has been revealed for tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite with AEW Champion Kenny Omega set to compete.
Omega will take on Alan “5” Angels of the Dark Order in a non-title match as a precursor for Omega’s title defense against Hangman Page at Full Gear on November 13th.
The two had a match on the April 22, 2020, episode of AEW Dynamite, which ended up as a breakthrough match for Angels.
Tony Khan announced on Wrestling Observer Live that Samuray del Sol (the former Kalisto in WWE) and Aerostar will challenge FTR for the AAA tag titles tonight.
Dynamite takes place from the Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri tonight at 8 p.m. ET on TNT and TSN 2 in Canada with the updated line-up:
*Kenny Omega vs. Alan “5” Angels
*Cody Rhodes vs. Andrade El Idolo
*TBS Tournament: Anna Jay vs. Jamie Hayter
*AAA Tag Team Championship: FTR (champions) vs. Samuray del Sol & Aerostar
