WWE has made several announcements for Raw and SmackDown Live, including four first-round matches in the King of the Ring.

On Monday’s episode of Raw from St. Paul, Minnesota, there will be two opening-round matches in the 16-man tournament. Cesaro will be taking on Samoa Joe and Cedric Alexander will be facing Sami Zayn. Raw is also advertising a United States title match between AJ Styles and Braun Strowman.

On SmackDown this Tuesday in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Kevin Owens will be facing Elias and Andrade takes on Apollo Crews in the opening round matches. They have also announced a match between Daniel Bryan and Buddy Murphy for SmackDown, which is a non-tournament match.

The entire bracket was released on Friday and is set to culminate with the finals at the Clash of Champions event on Sunday, September 15th in Charlotte, North Carolina.

AJ and Braun is a very interesting pairing.

I think the outcome of Owens vs. Elias should tell us a lot about how serious we should take this tournament.

I enjoyed the Tag for guys not in the tournament matches Wk 1 on Raw.
