Originally published at Kinya Okada suffers fractured jawbone after taking kick from Katsuhiko Nakajima at NOAH's 8/28 show
The match between the two talents had to be stopped.
In a B block match for Pro Wrestling NOAH’s N-1 Victory tournament, Katsuhiko Nakajima went one-on-one with Kinya Okada. Their match was thrown out by the referee after Nakajima delivered a kick directly to the face of Okada.
Okada was stretchered away from the ring. NOAH provided an update on Okada and noted that he’ll be out of action after suffering a fractured jawbone.

Initially, Okada was not slated for the N-1 Victory tourney. He filled in for Timothy Thatcher who had visa issues.
Back in June at CyberFight Festival, Nakajima got into a striking exchange with DDT Pro-Wrestling’s Tetsuya Endo and concussed him. Endo was out of action until July 24th.
Nakajima is now leading the B block with 10 points. Here are the results from today’s show:
