Sabian is going to be with AEW for the foreseeable future.

Over the summer, Evil Uno shared that he signed a new deal with All Elite Wrestling. His post was quote tweeted by fellow AEW talent Kip Sabian who added that he re-signed with the company as well.

While guest appearing on episode #189 of Cultaholic’s Desert Island Graps, Sabian discussed re-signing with AEW. He stated that he had no intentions of going anywhere else and both parties were happy with the new agreement that was presented.

Indeed (Sabian responded when it was said AEW has him on the books for another three years). Of course, yeah (it was great news)… I love it when these things come up. I love it when these things come up because the way that now the curtain has been pulled back, there’s all this speculation and talk and this kind of stuff. I had no intentions of going anywhere else and confirmed or not, whether it was reached out to me, I wanted to stay because I genuinely love being in AEW. So yeah, for me as well, it’s a pat on the back because it’s, ‘We would still like you’ so we had that conversation, we came to an agreement and I was very happy with the agreement and they were very happy with the agreement and I’m still an AEW boy. So yeah, it’s definitely the situation where there’s a lot of things I want to do over the time that I’m still in AEW so, yeah.

When it comes to future goals, Sabian reiterated that he wants to become AEW International Champion. He reflected on the program he had with the current champion, Orange Cassidy. He thinks a lot of people do not realize how good the program was and how much more could have been done.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I want to and I will make sure that at some point, I do become the (AEW) International Championship holder. When me and Orange (Cassidy) had that feud, I think that — not really got overshadowed but I don’t think many people realized how good that short run that we had together was and how much there is that could be done from that going forward.

Sabian has been with AEW since 2019. The 31-year-old’s most recent televised match was on the December 2nd episode of Collision where he took on AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo.

I’m not sure he had many options besides AEW. Also why did they give him a bizarre year out of the ring under a box only to job him out upon his return? I’m not saying he needs to be pushed, but it seems like a lot of effort for someone to still not be pushed.

Sabian is someone they should have let walk.
