The season premiere of Friday Night SmackDown will include the first matches in the King of the Ring and Queen’s Crown tournaments.
Friday’s episode from the SAP Center in San Jose, California will kick off the two tournaments with the men’s King of the Ring beginning with an opening-round match between Rey Mysterio and Sami Zayn.
The women’s Queen’s Crown will see Liv Morgan face-off with Carmella with both tournaments to continue this Monday on Raw from San Francisco.
Carmella, Morgan, and Mysterio were drafted to Raw over the past week while Zayn remains on SmackDown with the roster changes going into effect on Friday, October 22nd.
Friday Night SmackDown will also see the latest contract signing with this one involving Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, and Sasha Banks prior to their SmackDown Women’s Championship match at Crown Jewel on Thursday, October 21st in Saudi Arabia.
