Likely/Unlikely Predictions for 2025

I’m in the boat lol! Hate writing longer posts on my phone

It’s interesting that people keep mentioning rock being at wrestlemania. I was under the impression it’s Cody versus Cena and Roman versus CM punk at mania .

I think you’ve stumbled onto the crux of the game.

I don’t feel like that is the general consensus at all. WrestleMania is still 3 months away and the booking can change dramatically in that time. But to me it seemed like WWE is setting up:

Some version of Rock vs Roman
Rhodes vs Orton (maybe still involving KO)
CM Punk vs Rollins with a stipulation
Cena vs maybe Gunther

The card all revolves around the Rock and whether he’s available and likes the creative this time. If Rock isn’t wrestling then it all changes.

588K for Dynamite on New Year’s Day and partially against a huge College Football game (even with the late game being postponed). And of course with streaming putting an unknown dent into the number as well.

Long way of saying that I think a sub-500K average for the year would be quite the precipitous fall. Feeling good about my “Unlikely”.

What are the chances a deal is made for Shinske to have a match with Tanahashi?

So since we have to wait for the Raw tapings outside North America to actually happen before we officially call it, we have our first settled Likely/Unlikely of 2025!

Zero chance. No benefit to WWE

What’s the benefit of him going to NOAH then?

It’s prob just Noah not working with AEW, so they are willing too. NJPW is also much more successful so Noah is no competition

Finally getting around to this…

Noah is a smaller company and then having ties to Noah can help at times cause they could do a talent exchange. NJPW is already working with AEW so what’s the point of them lending Nakamura to them just for one match

Is there some sort of multiple promotion trade they can make that ends with Justin Roberts getting to announce John Cena one more time?

A quick likely/unlikely for today. Will the debut of Raw be under 3 hours? Anyone have any time predictions?

I say likely……I see it somewhere around 2.5. Won’t be shocked though if they hit 3.

Oh god. I think it’s definitely going over three. I’ll say 3:10

Remove the stone of 3 hour Raws.

Attach the stone of 3 and a half hour Raws!

Comfortably over three hours tonight. Around three — sometimes over, sometimes under — will be the norm.

On the Helwani prediction show, Pollock had a great one: Nick Khan leaves his position at WWE.

All the pieces are in place, the company is red hot, the TV deals are done. What else is there to do? Don’t think he sees WWE as his end goal.
