LuFisto’s in-ring career dates back to the late 1990s. She is a native of Canada and got her start in pro wrestling in Montreal. She has not wrestled outside of Canada since October 2019.

As of this writing, the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame class consists of Jerry Lynn, Homicide, Ruckus, Dave Prazak, LuFisto and the late Tracy Smothers.

Very happy to learn I can watch it from home, rather than risk catching the Big Homie Omi in NYC and pay those ticket prices.

Very happy for her to see her recognized.

As somebody who is involved in the Ontario independent wrestling scene - I can tell you that had it not been for fights she battled with the Ontario Athletic Commission back in the early 00’s, myself and many others, never would have gotten involved.

Her battles (for the right to work against men, and overall help dismantle the archaic cash grab involvement of the OAC in wrestling) opened the doors for many to become involved.
