An update from Madison Rayne.

Going into AEW Revolution, Deonna Purrazzo and AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm have been competing in singles matches ahead of their title match at the pay-per-view.

On the 2/21 Dynamite, Madison Rayne went one-on-one with Purrazzo. There was a spot during the match when Rayne landed directly on the top of her head and the match ended soon after with Purrazzo securing the win.

Taking to X, Rayne noted that she is fine:

Hi 🙋🏼‍♀️ I’m okay! Thanks so much to everyone who celebrated my Dynamite return & those who checked in on me afterwards.

To those who have never stepped into a ring but tweeted awful things at me w/ zero knowledge of what actually happened- thanks for watching. Have a great day 🙃

She’s doing better than the match was thankfully

Watched the match today, it was bad but no worse than any random WWE women’s tag match.

Looked like Madison Rayne messed up, which is kind of disturbing because, uh, she’s the coach for the women :grimacing:

I just saw some people online saying it was the worst match in Dynamite history. That Baker/Taya match from a while back was wayyyyyy worse

This is only true because they haven’t given Tiffany Stratton a random tag partner yet.

Oh they should keep her far, far away from that division.
