Next week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown will feature additional Money in the Bank qualifiers along with a WWE women’s tag title match.

The following has been advertised for next week’s show, which will take place on Friday from the WWE Performance Center:
*Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross vs. Carmella & Dana Brooke for the WWE women’s tag titles
*Drew Gulak vs. King Corbin in a Money in the Bank Qualifying match
*Sasha Banks vs. Lacey Evans in a Money in the Bank Qualifying match
*A segment on ‘The History of Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt’
*The Triple H 25th Anniversary Celebration begins

For this Monday’s episode of Raw at the WWE PC, they are promoting the show around Drew McIntyre’s response to the show-closing attack from Seth Rollins as well as the following Money in the Bank qualifiers:
*Rey Mysterio vs. Murphy
*Aleister Black vs. Austin Theory
*Apollo Crews vs. MVP

Those that have qualified for the Money in the Bank matches include Daniel Bryan on the men’s side and Shayna Baszler, Asuka, Nia Jax, and Dana Brooke on the women’s side. The matches will take place from WWE headquarters in Stamford advertised as ‘Climb the Corporate Ladder’ where participants start on the ground floor and will ascend the floors to grab the briefcases on the roof of the building. The matches were already taped this past week.

Below is the current list of announced matches and participants for the Money in the Bank card:
*Braun Strowman vs. Bray Wyatt for the Universal title
*Bayley vs. Tamina for the SmackDown women’s title
*Men’s Money in the Bank match feat. Daniel Bryan
*Women’s Money in the Bank match feat. Shayna Baszler, Asuka, Nia Jax, Dana Brooke

@johnpollock any idea why they stopped airing old matches from the archive? At first, I thought it had to do with the whole “taped” aspect of the contract. But with the news you reported about block filming again I don’t think it’s that.

Those old matches did good in ratings and was a nice break in the show from a pacing perspective.

Is this like Vince’s edict about no wrestling during commercials or the "wild card " rule? Some arbitrary judgement from Vince that he’ll renege on in a week or two?
