After nearly two years as the NXT UK Women’s Champion, Kay Lee Ray’s title reign was ended on the 6/10 episode of NXT UK.

At TakeOver: Cardiff in 2019, Kay Lee Ray first captured the title. Along the way, she scored wins over the likes of Piper Niven, Jinny and Meiko Satomura. She and Satomura met once again on today’s NXT UK and the result this go around was in Satomura’s favor.

Also on today’s installment of NXT UK, Jordan Devlin made his in-ring return on the program. He picked up a win over Saxton Huxley.

Two matches have been added to the 6/17 NXT UK. It will be Jinny and Joseph Connors taking on Dani Luna and Flash Morgan Webster along with a singles match between Wolfgang and Sam Gradwell.

This was a really great match. They should hold off the rubber match until they can fill an arena because this feud deserves it at this point. NXT UK has been pretty solid for the most part lately (especially their blooming women’s division). Hoping it translates to more attention once crowds return.

I’m also really enjoying the rebranding of Andrews/Webster/Luna as Subculture. The vignettes are really unique and it gives an otherwise great tag team something for fans to dig into with them.

They listed Kay Lee Ray’s reign at 649 days. Agreed it was a very good match between the two.

Not the biggest fan of the Sub Culture name. I like the intergender factions and the subsequent mixed tags, but a faction based on hobbies seems corny to me.
