The second of two WarGames matches on 12/5 has been confirmed.

Headlining the 11/23 NXT 2.0 was a Triple-Threat match that saw Carmelo Hayes defend his North American Championship against Pete Dunne and Johnny Gargano. The final image before the show went off the air was of the participants in the men’s WarGames match brawling with one another.

Pete Dunne hit the ‘Bitter End’ on Gargano, but Tony D’Angelo pulled Dunne out of the ring. This led to Hayes capitalizing and pinning Gargano to retain the title. Throughout the show, L.A. Knight and Grayson Waller were fighting and that continued through the final segment of the show. NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa came to Johnny Gargano’s aid and they stood alongside Pete Dunne and L.A. Knight.

On the outside were Carmelo Hayes, Tony D’Angelo, Waller and Bron Breakker who yelled out ‘WarGames’ as the sirens went off.

There are now four matches confirmed for the WarGames event on December 5th. Here is the updated lineup:

  • WarGames Match: Io Shirai, Cora Jade, Raquel Gonzalez & Kay Lee Ray vs. Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Jacy Jayne & Gigi Dolin) and Dakota Kai
  • Hair vs. Hair Match: Cameron Grimes vs. Duke Hudson
  • NXT Cruiserweight Championship: Roderick Strong (c) (w/ Malcolm Bivens) vs. Joe Gacy (w/ Harland)
  • WarGames Match: Bron Breakker, Grayson Waller, Carmelo Hayes & Tony D’Angelo vs. Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Pete Dunne & L.A. Knight

So I guess either Gargano has re-signed or just signed on for this show, since apparently his contract ends on December 3.

This segment was great except it missed the sincerity of Regal and felt very WWE-Hyped not authentic genuine hype
