Longtime wrestling referee Mickie Henson passes away.

At the age of 59, Mickie Henson has passed away. Henson began his career in refereeing in the late 1980s. He started working for WCW in 1992 and was with the company until it was bought out.

He joined WWE in 2005 and officiated matches such as John Cena versus Kurt Angle at Survivor Series 2005 along with Edge versus Mick Foley at WrestleMania 22.

In 2018, Henson won the Cauliflower Alley Club’s Charlie Smith Referee’s Award.
