On Friday Night SmackDown, there was two additional Money in the Bank Qualifying matches with participants added to the ladder match that airs next weekend.
In the main event of the show, Otis pinned Dolph Ziggler after coming back from a Zig Zag and throwing Ziggler to the mat before landing the caterpillar for the win.
Otis joins Daniel Bryan, King Corbin, Rey Mysterio, Aleister Black, and a sixth person that will be determined in the Gauntlet match on Raw this Monday.
In the other qualifying match, Carmella pinned Mandy Rose after hitting a superkick following a distraction from Sonya Deville, who came out and berated Rose.
Carmella will be part of the match with Asuka, Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Dana Brooke, and Lacey Evans.
Daniel Bryan stated in his promo on SmackDown that both Money in the Bank Ladder matches would take place at the same time. It was stated later in the show that both matches would take place at the same time:
