I was not expecting this topic to turn into a Taylor Swift appreciate thread. But happy it has
For me the ranking of her album releases since 2020 are:
- Midnights
- Red (Taylor’s Version)
- Folklore
- 1989 (Taylor’s Version)
- Evermore
- Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)
- Tortured Poets Department
- Fearless (Taylor’s Version)
So if I had to pick one song that should have been on the top 100 songs of the 2020’s so far it should have been the incredible All Too Well (Ten Minute Version).

I take Folklore over Midnights. But the 10 minute version of All Too Well is a fantastic choice.

We’re rating Tay Tay records?!?
I’m at a laundromat so I got time for two Tay Tay top-fives, but we’ll open the floor to anything Taylor Swift:
Top five records:
- Red (Taylor’s Version)
- Folklore
- 1989 (Taylor’s Version)
- Lover
- Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) (Deluxe Edition)
I like Midnights but Speak Now was the record where her songwriting took an excellent turn and has two of my favorite Taylor Swift songs on it (and “Haunted” slaps).
RayceyJaycee’s Top five Tay Tay songs (no particular order and another difficult set of decisions to make):
- Enchanted (Speak Now)
- Ours (Speak Now - Deluxe Edition)
- Illicit Affairs (Folklore)
- All Too Well (10 minute version) (Red)
- Blank Space (1989)
These aren’t her “best songs” but the songs I love. Shout out to “Getaway Car” and “New Year’s Day” from Reputation, all of Red, 1989, and Folklore, and “The Archer” and the Mazzy Star-influenced “Lover” from Lover.

I feel like Lover is so underrated.

Totally agree! I listened to it yesterday after crafting the lists. I love almost everything on the record - from “I Forgot That You Existed” to “London Boy” is great.
“Paper Rings” - outstanding song. “Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince” - amazing. lol. “Afterglow”?
Totally underrated and in a run of great records. Lover, the cohesive album might be overshadowed, by singles (ME!, You Need To Calm Down, and the Man) and Folklore that followed.
Yet, “Cruel Summer” has a mere 2 billion plays on Spotify.
I didn’t anticipate the Taylor Swift love on the board, but I love it!!
